The Mountain House is located on Goldried 2.150 m at the heart of sunny Goldried, the part of the Grossglockner Resort Kals Matrei Matrei. With the 8-person gondola (Located directly on the Felbertauernstraße) you drive comfortably in 10 Minutes of the sun against. We offer the sunniest spot in the whole GG Resort!
Directly in front of the door itself 4 Schilifte, The ski schools and a shop. It is an ideal vantage point, you have a stunning view over the entire training area. For pedestrians, we are easily accessible, only 2 Walking distance of the Matrei Gondola.

The eye wanders over the filled parking lot, the snowy forest to enter into the remote Virgental. Then suddenly the view opens up to the Grossglockner, reigning majestically over the sparkling slopes in Goldried. Between the lift stations and the mountain inn Goldried are grazed by the beginner, more ground than on the skiing start. The snow sparkles and fades in the eyes and we breathe the cold, freshest mountain air, of the morning 2.000 m hergibt. Well then – off you go!“
